This post is not about El Salvador, Today would have been my Dad’s 107th Birthday and I just want to remember him. I hope that my blog followers will understand. This is a way to get this out to all my family and friends. Thank you.
Tribute to My Dad
My Dad, Conway B. Talley, would have been 107 years old today, I just wanted to remember him on this day. I think of him a lot and I sure miss his words of wisdom, when I was young I used to think he did not understand the world that I was living in, but the older I get the more I see that he was very wise, and he understood exactly how things were, it was me that did not understand.
My Dad was a painter by trade, he was a very good and sort after sign painter and he was a house painter, one of the best around. I remember him taking me with him when I was very young, maybe seven or eight years old, he taught me to do the trim work, around the windows and baseboards. I enjoyed those days and I truly miss them today, it seems like the years just flew by.
I just want to say Happy Birthday Dad, I love you and really miss you.
