InterNations El Salvador

DSCN4253 By Hugh C. Talley

We posted this on our travel blog, Paradise Travel ( last week but we wanted to reach all of our followers so we are posting it on our home site.

InterNations is an online community for people who live and work abroad, they are in more than 300 countries around the world. InterNations members are able to meet and interact with other expats living abroad with comparable interests and needs. In El Salvador they usually meet once a month in or around San Salvador for dinner and a sort of meet and greet opportunity. I think this is a very good organization and a great resource for anyone thinking about visiting, working, or living abroad, basic membership is free so it is really worthwhile to join.  I am a member of the group in San Salvador; I joined about three years ago.

My friend Adonay and I attended the first get-together for this year on Wednesday night,  it was held at BacaDel Obo Restaurant in San Salvador, it was a great turn out and we met a lot of nice people from El Salvador and from around the world. The food was very good, Adonay had the fish and shrimp platter and I had the calamari and a salad.

I again would like to highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting or living abroad to join InterNations, it is a great group and the basic membership is free.

We have attached some pictures from our get-together, please leave comments and or questions, Elizabeth and I always enjoy hearing from you.
