Elizabeth and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy and prosperous New Year!!!! I hope everyone had a very happy, safe, and enjoyable Christmas.

I just celebrated my 70th birthday on the 28th of December. I cannot believe how the years have flown by. I have had many ups and downs, but all in all, I have had a very fascinating and enjoyable life. I have been able to travel the world, visit, and live in many countries and meet many beautiful people. It is hard to believe that I have been retired and lived here in El Salvador for the past eight years. With God’s grace, I hope to enjoy many more productive and happy years.

2019 has been an eventful year; El Salvador elected a new President in March, Nayib Bukele, he was sworn in on the 1st of June. President Bukele has made significant improvements for El Salvador; I think he is an excellent President and will do many things to help El Salvador.

My son Matthew come to visit me in July, and we had a wonderful time. We were able to spend a week at the Decameron Resort, where we enjoyed the beach, the spectacular pools, and the delicious food. We also visited San Salvador and Sonsonate.

Elizabeth and I planted a garden for the first time this year. We just planted peppers and tomatoes to get the feel of gardening, they are doing very good, and we plan to plant more of a variety of vegetables in a few months.

Elizabeth and I wish everyone a safe and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I have added some pictures from this year; we hope you enjoy them.
